Kirsten and Patrick met in a whirlwind the night that the Cubs won the World Series in Chicago! They had since moved to New York City and were living along Central Park with their adorable dog, Blue. On a trip to Iceland, Patrick surprised Kirsten and popped the question! Kirsten said yes and they began planning their Company 251 wedding in Chicago!

Throughout the day, touches of Kirsten and Patrick were all around. From Blue getting ready with the girls, to his and hers cocktails, the personal touches were what made their wedding day feel extra special. we made sure to highlight the fact that all of their family and friends were together in the same place and the deep, intimate love that Kirsten and Patrick have for one another. Kirsten and Patrick were actually on the fence about having a wedding video - they weren't sure that it wasn't going to be a repeat of what their photographer was going to capture. We chatted with them about how video adds a whole new dimension to your memories that can't be replicated. It's the difference between seeing a picture of a loved one you've lost and watching a home video. The picture brings back warm memories but the video actually brings you back into the moment and lets you relive that time again. When Kirsten left us a review she said, "Initially, we were debating whether or not we even needed a wedding video, and we couldn't be happier we decided to go for it. They captured the day in ways that we wouldn't have been able to ever relive otherwise. And our video was completely unique..". We're so thrilled for them both and loved getting to capture their Company 251 wedding!

Amannda and Matt had the most wonderful Art Institute of Chicago wedding. From the start of their relationship, they knew they had found the one - they told one another they were going to get married on the second date. On their wedding day, Amannda and Matt had family from all over the world come to celebrate their wedding day including Amannda's family from the Philippines!

The start of the day was full of absolute joy while Amannda and Matt during getting ready. Matt and Amannda's moms were just the best of friends and couldn't contain their joy and laughter while they got ready for their kid's wedding day. Amannda incorporated her grandmother's intricately beautiful ring as her something blue. Be sure to watch in 1080p (click the gear on the bottom right of the video).

Their wedding ceremony was at the stunning and iconic St. Clement's Catholic Church in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. And their wedding reception ended up at the School of the Art Institute. With it's old time glam, it was the perfect setting for this gorgeous wedding.

But the real highlight of this wedding was the speeches given by everyone at the wedding. It was clear that everyone knew from the start that Amannda and Matt were made for one another. Each person talked about how they could tell that something was different with this relationship and they were so excited that the wedding day was finally here. Matt's father passed away unexpectedly before he meet Amannda but his presence was still in the room through the stories told. Matt told Amannda, "if my dad would have met you, he would have loved you". It was a beautiful sentiment on such a joy-filled day.

We wish that we could relive this Art Institute of Chicago wedding day over and over again. It was such a testament to love and the love of family! Cheers to Amannda and Matt!

Catherine and Jesse met online but their love quickly sparked! Jesse works with Congress and quickly moved to D.C. while Catherine stayed in Chicago to continue her career as an actor. These two had a relationship that weathered the storm of long distance and were so excited for their wedding at The Armour House in Lake Forest! One of the coolest parts of this story is where Catherine chose to get ready, at her childhood home. Catherine's mom grew up in the house next door while Catherine's dad bought their house as a young 20-something. Catherine's parents fell for one another and soon were planning their wedding. We got this amazing shot flipping through Catherine's parent's wedding album and filming the photo that her mom took on the stairs and then filming Catherine in the same spot. It was a full circle moment that I think the two of them will cherish for a lifetime. 

That's what video is really about. It's about storytelling and being able to really understand and know who our couples are so we can make something spectacular that might not be much to you as an outside viewer but means the world to those who the film is about. And what we captured at this Armour House Wedding.
